What do you actually keep?

A buyer pays you $25. By the time it reaches your bank, it is not $25. Put your real numbers in below and see exactly where the rest of it went, itemised, with every fee traced to the platform's own published rate card.

The fine print on this platform

The rate card is the easy part. These are the details underneath it that change what you actually pay, taken from the same published sources.

Every number above, and where it came from

Fees last verified against these sources on August 14, 2026. Platforms change their pricing without much warning, so if you are making a real decision, click through and check the figure yourself. If you spot one that has moved, tell us and we will fix it.

    Questions

Does this tell me how much I will make?

No, and nothing honest can. It works only with numbers you type in. It tells you what a single sale at that price leaves you after the fees on it, which is a fact about arithmetic, not a forecast about your business.

Where do the fee percentages come from?

Each one is copied from the platform's own published fee schedule, and every source is linked at the bottom of this page with the date we last checked it. Nothing here is estimated or averaged.

Why is my number lower than I expected?

Usually one of three things. Marketplace commission is often charged on the shipping you collect as well as the item price. Payment processing is a second fee on top of the platform cut, not part of it. And a monthly subscription spread over a small number of orders costs far more per sale than it looks like on the invoice.

Do these rates apply outside the United States?

Not exactly. Payment processing rates vary by country, and Etsy charges sellers in the UK, France, Italy, Spain and Turkey a Regulatory Operating fee that US sellers do not pay. The structure below still holds, but check your own country's rate card before relying on the total.
